  1. Yes, we all know or should know the first and most important rule. PLAY THE WIND. If the game you are after smells you, it will more than likely be gone before you see it. Walk with the wind in your face and take the long way in if need be.If you play the wind right, scent eliminators are not as important or a necessity. Pine needles work great.
  2. ALWAYS wear your safety harness if you're hunting from a stand.
  3. Proper equipment for the game you are after. Do your research and make sure you have the equipment and supplies you need.
